A JLA film will totally crap over The Avengers Assmble!

I'd like to see Nolan's take on Robin (don't know if Nolan is doing the reboot, just saying) much the same way I would have liked to see Eddy Murphy as the Riddler: stupid idea, but if done well, it could actually pay off.

Yeah. Remove everything to do with Abe and it seems like it could be a good film...it is a strange concept.

I don't think he held back, I think he was just a little more tactfull in how he came across this time. Never been a fan of Ricky but I did laugh at some the jokes. Last years I only found funny because of how hard he was trying to offend, which then became funnier when people actually got offended.

[I'm not the one who disagreed with yout comment by the way :P]

Honestly, I'd rather see someone else tackle Transformers. We've seen what Michael Bay can do with it and let's be honest, although the films are distinctive, he's cocked up all 3 attempts. The first one we forgave him, but after I had minimal expectations for both sequels and yet they STILL managed to mess up the story, I'm not going to fall into the same trap again. A new director, while not having Michael Bay's magic touch, would have at least offered the possibi...

"...resulting in a horrible movie."

Yeah, thing is, the last 2 Transformers were horrible, so it doesn't make much of a difference...

Firstly, let's hope he got a good deal for Pain and Gain (creative rights e.t.c.) secondly, let's hope Pain and Gain is actually something cool...then it might be worth enduring another transformer film for it.

Eh, No...until they ARE ready to make a serious Transformers films they shouldn't go anywhere NEAR Unicron. They can stick to there crappy Fallen and whoever that was in Trans 3.

I can understand people not liking Battle LA (I liked it) but I disagree with almost every word he used to discribe why he didn't like it (have to agree with the marine/family/death cliche tho). And realistically, there's FAR worse films that should have replaced Battle LA in that list (makes me question his taste in films...)

Admitably I haven't seen most of the films on that list but the worse film I've seen this year is undoubtebly Captain America.

I know this should be B-movie tongue-in-cheek fun, and maybe it is, but the trailer is cut very bad and comes across as extremely dull.

The introduction of what looks like Vampires means the story will inevitably get derailed which is a shame: Werewolves vs strippers sounds like a good fun idea. But then who cares about werewolves? Why not just make Stripper Wars or something?

@darklordzor

Which is why it takes a good story teller to "disguise" those comic elements and make them feel believable. That's why Dark Knight was better then Batman Begins: Dark Knight felt more "real" because it was about people. That bloody microwave transmitter ruined Batman Begins IMO. Even when I watch it now, I'm glued to the screen until Batman begins jumping onto trains to deactive something that might as well be a nuke.

What? You mean someone actually leaked a decent copy of Black Swan online? Where? All the ones I downloaded were crappy cams.

Yeah, he does a bit evil, and the scaled costume a bit odd...still looks better than that vagina that was Brandon Routh.

...But I have nothing against a dark gritty superman film. We've seen Superman's jolly side long enough, let's see him envisioned in a different way. Might not work, but where would we be without risk?

Don't care if he's black, there's something about Fishburne that I think fits Perry White's character. The only thing worrie's me is that he'll be too serious. We'll see.

I personally can't wait for this film!

Ah, shame it's so far away...

Hello Dark Knight Rises :D

Voltron pretty much was the precursor to Power Rangers: conceptualy anyway.

Though I never liked the Voltron cartoons that much (I always prefered Battle of the Planets aka Gatchaman) I wouldn't mind a live action version at all :) Theorectially it'll be about inter-planetary invasions so it could have a much larger scale than Transformers.

Obviously they'll need to get the CGI right though...

I much prefer this to the old spiderman films. Makes me wish this was the first one!

I also prefer the darker tone,I always liked the fact that Spiderman gets so much abuse for being a super heroes. Let's hope still has his sense of humour though.

The first person bit did look good but everytime you see one in a film it automatically screams "GIMMICK!". But I like the way they used it to reveal his costume in the mirror at the end.

I don't know if it's just me but I think the humour works really well in Transformers. I don't think I want to see it "dark" and to be fair the concept doesn't really lend itself to being dark and gritty and realistic: face it, it's giant robots with cheesy voices that turn into trucks. You can only sell a concept like that be being slightly tongue in cheek. Same way you can only sell a concept like Batman by being in either really comical or arguing that he&...

"The faster that camera moved around, the more problems he had with focus and 3D. "

Yeah, I imagine that would be a problem for Bay.

It's a Avatar 3d I'd like to watch it, I think it'll fit Transformers very well. It just sounds a bit last minute to me, no one's mentioned Darkside of the Moon being a 3d film until now.

We've had a generation of "bright" super heroes, I say make 'em dark now. I've seen superman's happy side enough times, so I'm quite intrigued to see a grittier Superman.

But to be honest, I don't think it will be THAT dark. I think it will still have the superman vide.
